Questions
Polu doesn't quote prices without seeing the car. For estimate calls, Polu takes the full details (make/model/year, symptoms, photos) and texts your service writer for a human callback — usually within an hour.
Google Calendar out of the box. Direct integrations with Shop-Ware, Mitchell 1, and Tekmetric are on the roadmap. In the meantime, your service writer gets a text with the booking details and enters it into your SMS during normal check-in.
Polu recognizes tow-company phone numbers (you configure the list in Settings) and routes those calls to your tow coordinator with the vehicle info and location — no customer-facing script needed.
Polu takes the insurance details (claim number, adjuster name, carrier) and queues the call for your office manager. We don't negotiate with insurance — that stays with your human team.
Polu looks up the repair status (you give access to your shop management system in Settings) and tells the customer the current ETA. If they need to pick up early, Polu texts your shop lead for Monday morning follow-up.
